About Katie
Katie Shapiro creates spaces that are inspiring, beautiful and unique. Katie aims to bring authenticity to each project and her passion for beautiful furniture, lighting, art, materials and textures shines through in all of her designs. She has an amazing ability to ensure that her client’s visions are turned into a reality.
Katie draws on her love of art, photography, modernist furniture, colour and antiques to create spaces that are truly individual.
Katie broadened her design vocabulary through a BA in Art History (1st Class Hons) at Birmingham University, going on to complete an MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art in the Art History specialising in the History of Fashion. She then went on to study Interior Design at KLC School of Design. She worked at Christie’s and in top Mayfair galleries for many years, before embarking on her dream career of an Interior Designer. Her great passion for art shines through in all her designs. She offers an Art Advisory service along with her Interior Design.

Interior Design
Katie Shapiro Interiors offers various design packages to suit your needs and requirements. We can offer a full design package from concept through to completion for large projects, but we also offer other packages that are more suited to smaller projects. We would love to assist you on your design venture, nothing is too big or too small.
Art Advisory
Katie’s academic background in Art History, along with her years having worked at Christie’s Auction House and a reputable Mayfair gallery has given her a huge understanding and appreciation of art. She strongly believes that art is integral to interiors and is often the starting point to a scheme. Whether it is art advice or help sourcing, Katie can assist you with your every need.
